Forest Rally on Saturday March 29th was a great success with 1300 participants!
Here are some images from the rally:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
We need your help this Saturday to reach our goal of 1000 Forest Rally participants at the legislature, all demanding an end to old growth logging on Vancouver Island, and supporting a Ban on Raw Log Exports. This will send an undeniable message to government that the future of BC forests are a top concern for voters.
We are asking supporters of the Dogwood Initiative to join forces with the Wilderness Committee (who already has 670 people confirmed) for the rally this Saturday March 29th. We will meet at 11:30am at Centennial Square and march to the legislative buildings by noon.
Speakers Include: Bob Simpson (NDP Forestry Critic), Jane Sterk (BC Green Party Leader), Arnold Bercov (Pulp, Paper, and Woodworkers of Canada, Forestry Officer), Ken James (Youbou TimberLess Society, Director), Valerie Langer (Friends of Clayoquot Sound, Board Member, and ForestEthics, Forest Campaigner), Ken Wu (WCWC Victoria Campaign Director), and others.
Sign the "Rally Participants Display", which will act as a giant score card keeping track of participants. Bring a small photo of yourself to add, to the display.
At the rally look for our Orange and Black signs stating: Time for a New Forest Minister! I Demand Rich Coleman's Resignation! We will be video taping concerned citizens for our campaign.
