Points you may want to include in your letter:

-The Auditor General report made it clear that the decision made by your Minister to grant Western Forest Products their Tree Farm Licence deletions was not made with the public interest in mind.

-The decision was made without adequate information or public consultation.

-The decision did not take into account previous deletions, and the potential for compensation or other opportunities for public benefit.

-The decision only took into account the financial interests of WFP.

-Based on these and other reasons I am asking that you and your cabinet rescind the deletions and turn down Western Forest Products applications for subdivision in previous TFL 25.

-I am also asking for you and your cabinet to use your power under the land title act section 90(2) to immediately halt Western's subdivision application, and support the wishes of the Capital Regional District and local communities.

-This is an opportunity for your government to do the right thing, and start to repair some of the damage done by this uninformed decision.
